Aim - To engage Indian nationals in public policy and public administration.
* Ayushman Bharat-National Health Protection Mission
Aim - Ayushman Bharat Yojana is the scheme of the Central government which focuses on the wellness of poor families and providing medical benefits to them.On the auspicious occasion of the 72nd Independence Day, our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi promulgated to launch Ayushman Bharat Yojana as Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Abhiyan on 25th September 2018.
* Solar Charkha Mission
Aim - President Ram Nath Kovind launched the Solar Charkha Mission on June 27, 2018, in which the government will be providing a subsidy of Rs. 550 crore to the thousands of artisans and generating employment in the rural areas.
* National Nutrition Mission (POSHAN Abhiyan)
Aim - National Nutrition Mission was launched as an expansion of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao programme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan on the occasion of the International Women’s Day on March 8, 2018. The main objectives of this scheme are to attain proper nutritional status among children from 0-6 years, adolescent girls, pregnant women and lactating mothers in a timely manner; reduce stunting, under-nutrition, and anaemia among young children, women, and adolescent girls; and lowering low birth weight by at least 2% per annum.
* Samagra Shiksha Scheme
Aim - The Samagra Shiksha Scheme was launched by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) on May 24, 2018, in view of improving the quality of education at the school level in India. It is an overarching program that will incorporate digital technology and introduce skill development in the school education system.
* Make in India
Aim - Soon after taking charge, on September 25, 2014, Modi launched the campaign to attract foreign investment and build the brand India. The primary goal behind this policy was to make India a global manufacturing hub, by encouraging both multinational as well as domestic companies to manufacture their products within the country.
* Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
Aim - The Prime Minister launched his pet project for a clean India on Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary on October 2, 2014. The goal also includes the elimination of open defecation, conversion of insanitary toilets to pour flush toilets, eradicating of manual scavenging and Municipal Solid Waste Management (MSWM).
* PRADHAN MANTRI JAN DHAN YOJANA:
Aim - Crores of bank accounts have been opened as part of the scheme to give every household in India easy access to banking facilities and set up accounts at zero balance.

The Objective of “Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY)” is to ensure access to various financial services like availability of basic savings bank account, access to need-based credit, remittances facility, insurance and pension to the excluded sections i.e. weaker sections & low-income groups.
* Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao
Aim - With an objective to generate awareness and to improve the welfare services provided to women, on January 25, 2015, Modi launched the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign.
Programme Objectives:
Prevent gender-biased sex selective elimination
Ensure survival & protection of the Girl Child
Ensure education of the Girl Child
Improve the Nutrition Status of Girl Child
Promote a protective environment for Girl Child
* Smart Cities Mission
Aim - The Government of India announced the first 20 smart cities under 'Smart Cities Mission. The list has been released out of the 98 shortlisted cities. These 20 cities will be receiving finance for their further development into 'smart cities' and later, 40 cities and then 38 cities will be announced.
* MUDRA BANK YOJANA : (Micro Unit Development and Refinance Agency Bank)
Launched on 8th April 2015.
Aim - MUDRA will provide credit up to Rs.10 lakh to small entrepreneurs & act as a regulator of Microfinance institutions. The Objective of the scheme is to encourage entrepreneurs and small business units to expand their capabilities and to reduce indebtedness.
* PRADHAN MANTRI JEEVA JYOTI BIMA YOJANA:
Launched on 9th May 2015.
Aim - It is a government-backed life insurance scheme. It is open all sects of Indian civilians
Age limit: 18 to 50 years of age.
Annual premium- Rs.330 per year for life cover of Rs.2,00,000.
* PRADHAN MANTRI SURAKSHA BIMA YOJANA:
Launched on 9th May 2015.
Aim - The government scheme is accident insurance coverage and is affordable for all sects of people.
Age limit: 18-70 years
Annual premium: Rs.12 per year.
Coverage: accidental death and full disability of Rs.2,00,00 and Rs.1,00,000 for partial disability.
* ATAL PENSION SCHEME:
Launched on 9th May 2015
Aim - The Atal pension scheme is targeted at unorganised sector workers. Depending upon the contribution, the beneficiary will get a guaranteed pension of Rs.1000 to Rs.5000 per month. Govt will contribute 50% of total contribution or Rs.1000 whichever is lower.
Age limit: 18-40 years
The pension will start at the age of 60 years.
* PRADHAN MANTRI SANSAD ADARSH GRAM YOJANA:
Launched on 11th October 2014
Aim - Under this scheme, MPs will be responsible for developing the socio-economic and physical infrastructure of three villages each by 2019. A total of eight villages by 2024. The first Adarsh gram must be developed by 2016 and more by 2019. A total of 6433 Adarsh Grams of 265000-gram Panchayat will be created by 2024.
* Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana:
Aim - DDUGJY is a Government of India scheme aimed to provide continuous power supply to rural India. It is one of the key initiatives of the Modi Government and it aims to supply 24×7 uninterrupted power supplies to all homes. The government plans to invest Rs 75,600 crore for rural electrification under this scheme. The scheme will replace the existing Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana.
* UDAAN PROJECT:
The Special Industry Initiative J&K ‘Udaan’ Scheme is to provide skills and enhance the employability of 40,000 youth over a period of five years in key high growth sectors. The scheme is being implemented by the National Skill Development Council (NSDC) and the corporate sector in PPP mode. Udaan also aims to provide a platform that empowers girl students and provides them with better learning opportunities.
* SKILL INDIA:
Aim - Launched by PM Narendra Modi on 15th July 2015.
Skill India focuses on creating jobs for youth, the govt has decided to revamp the antiquated industrial training centres that will skill over 20 lakh youth annually and create 500 million jobs by 2020. The initiative was launched on the occasion of world youth skills day.
* Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana
Aim - Launched in March 2016 this is a step by the Government of India to keep every household fed and aims at providing free LPG connection to women below the poverty line.
* Maternity Benefit Program
Aim - This scheme is for the benefit of pregnant and lactating women in India and desires to provide proper care, practice and efficient utilization of government-sponsored facilities.
Previously known as Indira Gandhi Matritva Sahyog Yojana, it was renamed as Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana in 2017 to combat the increasing maternal mortality rate.
* Sukanya Samriddhi Account
Aim - Launched in Jan 2015 this scheme is an extension of the first-mentioned plan. The government is taking efforts not only to save more and more girls but is equally determined to provide them with a better and economically secured future.
* Demonetisation
Aim - The Prime Minister's sudden announcement on November 8 wiped out most of the currency in circulation and left millions scrambling for cash. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the discontinuation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes.
* Digital India
Aim - The Digital India programme is a flagship programme of the Government of India with a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.
